Durability
Rapid static batching plants are manufactured using high strength, all-welded mild steel. Rapid pan and twin-shaft mixers are built using heavy duty door mechanisms, gearboxes and motors. Paddles, arms, wall and floor tiles are all manufactured using durable chill cast steel. Rapid mobile batching plants are fully galvanised and feature an auto greasing system. All of this results in mixing technology that stands the test of time. In fact, the very first Rapid mixer is still in operation today, over 50 years later!

Each Rapid batching plant features an advanced automatic PIL PLC modular control system designed for precise and efficient control of plant batching operations and safety protocols. This sophisticated control system ensures accurate measurement of water, cement, aggregates, and admixtures. The reliability and precision of this system contribute to consistent, high-quality concrete production, meeting industry standards and customer expectations for every batch produced.
POWERFUL MIXING.
Rapid concrete mixers offers fast, powerful, intelligent mixing, resulting in a thoroughly homogenous mix. The Rapid pan mixer’s mixing arms ensure that all materials are kept in constant motion in every direction, producing top quality concrete. The Rapid pan offers large output capacities of up to 4m3 (5yds3), making it ideal for ready-mixed concrete production. The Rapid twin-shaft mixer offers fast, powerful mixing for ready-mixed concrete applications. The mixer’s unique arm design allows fitment at either 60°/90° and creates an area of high turbulence ensuring a homogeneous mix in a reduced space of time. The Rapid twin-shaft produces outputs of up to 4.5m3 (6yds3).
ON-SITE ADVANTAGES.
We’ve made maintaining, cleaning and inspecting our mixers and plant simple. The gearbox and motor are positioned on the top of the Rapid planetary mixer and static batching plants feature separate access platforms to access the mixer, wet batch hoppers and discharge chutes. Cleaning is a breeze with the Rapid Jetwash washout system. The Rapid Jetwash is an ultra high pressure mixer washout system which operates at 140 bar (2030 psi) and can clean multiple mixers at the same time.
Rapid batching plants are designed to offer fast installation. Each static plant features pre-wired modular sections for easy, fast installation. Rapid mobile batching plants can be erected with just a single crane lift and require no foundations. All mobile batching plants feature plug and play electrics.
We understand that space is at a premium, so we’ve designed our mixers, static and mobile plant solutions with a compact footprint. Whether you’re retrofitting a mixer into an existing plant that’s short on space or trying to configure a plant in a restricted area, we’ve got it solved.
SAFETY FIRST.
Safety is at the forefront of our design. All equipment is CE marked and the following standards are adhered to: BS EN 292 Safety of Machinery; BS EN 60204 Safety of Machinery – electrical equipment of machines; BS EN 953 Safety of Machinery – Guards; BS EN 620 – Safety for fixed belt conveyors.
Rapid mixers features mixer overload protection and door proximity switches. All Rapid plant includes a host of safety features, including, plant control system safety relay, galvanised handrails and guarding, galvanised meshed inspection panels, anti-slip checker plate/open deck flooring, anti-slip paint on silo and BSEN4211 compliant ladders.
