Durability
Rapid static batching plants are manufactured using high strength, all-welded mild steel. Rapid planetary mixers are built using heavy duty door mechanisms, gearboxes and motors. Paddles, arms, wall and floor tiles are all manufactured using durable chill cast steel. All of this results in mixing technology that stands the test of time. In fact, the very first Rapid mixer is still in operation today, over 50 years later!

That’s why every Rapid plant and mixer is designed and manufactured at our own 65,000 sq ft UK facility, ensuring total control over build quality. We only use premium components from internationally renowned manufacturers, reducing lead times and ensuring quality. Our global service and support team ensure all after sales requirements are handled promptly and professionally. Same day dispatch is available on all in-stock spare parts.
Accuracy
Each Rapid batching plant features an automatic PIL PLC modular control system for accurate control of plant batching and safety. The control system allows accurate measuring (metered or weighed) of water, cement, aggregates and admixtures.
Homogenous mixing.
The Rapid Planetary concrete mixer offers fast, powerful, intelligent mixing, resulting in a thoroughly homogenous mix. The mixer’s counter current star mixing action is ideal for production of precast concrete, ensuring oxides, pigments, admixtures and fibres are all perfectly incorporated.

Safety First.
Safety is at the forefront of our design. All equipment is CE marked and the following standards are adhered to: BS EN 292 Safety of Machinery; BS EN 60204 Safety of Machinery – electrical equipment of machines; BS EN 953 Safety of Machinery – Guards; BS EN 620 – Safety for fixed belt conveyors.
The Rapid Planetary mixers features mixer overload protection and door proximity switches. All Rapid static plant includes a host of safety features, including, plant control system safety relay, galvanised handrails and guarding, galvanised meshed inspection panels, anti-slip checker plate/open deck flooring, anti-slip paint on silo and BSEN4211 compliant ladders.
